Terrazzo
Usually employed in flooring application, Terrazzo is used to produce a durable and cheap alternative to solid stone.
Instead of using the industrial amounts of waste stone from the marble quarrying process, we recycled offcuts from stone masons, previously destined for landfill.
Unlike other modern interpretations of terrazzo, ‘trzo’ is moulded in situ, producing complex shapes without the waste associated with traditional stone machining.
